About the role

Häuslein Tiny House Co. are looking for a self motivated, fun and committed individual to join our rapidly growing business. This is a part time role which will entail a large component of supplier entries into our accounting system, some customer invoice and allocation duties, HR support, and a range of other general office tasks, accounting and bookkeeping duties.

To be considered for this role, you will have prior experience in finance and office administration, especially accounts payable and receivable, have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently. You must be a self starter who can use initiative, have the ability to problem solve and communicate extremely well with various stakeholders.

Duties and responsibilities

Including, but are not limited to:

  • Accounts Payable function (data entry, coding and supplier accounts).

  • Reconciling invoices / payable / receivable / statements

  • Processing a high volume of invoices / receipts

  • Investigation of creditor issues and problem resolution of invoices.

  • Liaising with suppliers, management and other staff members in a friendly and

  • approachable manner

  • Assisting with the implementation of systems, policies and procedures

  • Assist in the ongoing management of employees & apprentices

  • Various administration duties as required

Skills Required

  • Xero experience

  • Account payables / receivables / reconciling experience

  • Accurate data entry skills

  • Knowledge of accounts coding, especially related to construction / manufacturing

  • Exposure to online tools, computerised accounting and online banking systems

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping / Accounting preferred
