HÄUSLEIN TINY HOUSE CO: A celebration of our 8 year story

We are humbled and grateful to have been one of Australia’s earliest established tiny house companies. Since our small beginnings in 2018, we committed ourselves to a standard of excellence in building materials and craftsmanship and, sought to remain at the forefront of tiny house design, throughout the duration of our manufacturing years. As we close this season of our story in 2026, we wish to look back and celebrate some of the beautiful tiny houses we’ve had the opportunity to build, as well as share some favourite events and memories. Reminisce with us below!

While the tiny house models reflected here are no longer available, they and the amazing people who built them and played a myriad of roles in the background, had such a valuable part in the growth of our company and the passionate following we’re deeply humbled to have developed. We trust these models will continue to inspire the tiny house movement in Australia and we’re grateful to have many of our tiny homes dotted in almost every State and Territory of our amazing country.

To ‘sojourn’ means to rest, abide or stay, capturing the essence of the Sojourner Tiny House. Its relocatable design allows for comfort wherever you go, but the beauty and versatility of it’s 3 layouts offered a variety of highly functional full time living options, without a traditional mortgage. Ideal for singles or couples, or simply for guest accommodation, this model with its cute pitched roof and lofts, cozy living area and stunning kitchen. While no longer in production, the Sojourner remains a cherished model in tiny living.

GRAND SOJOURNER *Most popular model

Our most popular tiny house, designed for comfort and flexibility. Perfect for family life and lived in full time by two of our co-founders with their two sons, it provides a high standard of living without the burden of a large home. The Grand Sojourner featured 3 layouts for generous tiny house living, maximising space with two lofts. This model was ideal for down-sizers or retirees seeking simplicity, or alternatively, first home owners and young families. While no longer in production, the Grand Sojourner remains a cherished model in tiny living.

Hauslein Toy Hauler

The Häuslein Hauler is born out of our passion for getting out into the great Australian outdoors. This is one for the adventurous. Compared to conventional caravans the Häuslein Hauler has a refreshingly sleek-look – without all the busy exterior vents, flaps, panels, and gas bottles – and yet it’s fully off-grid powered and ready to take you to your playground. Make your time with family and friends super functional in all weather as well as comfortable beyond your typical camper-trailer. Keep all your valuable bikes or boards secure inside the Hauler. Arrive home with everything intact inside ready for the next adventure – with less time and effort wasted mounting and dismounting bikes and sports equipment off tricky ute trays or 4wd roof racks.
