Workshop/Site Visitor Policy

We believe that the well-being of people in our work is a priority and must be considered during entry to our workshop or other sites.

The objective of this policy is to achieve a safe and incident-free workplace.

At Häuslein Tiny House Co. we are committed to fulfilling the objectives of this policy. This is achieved by:

  • Complying with statutory requirements, codes, standards, and guidelines as directed by SafeWork NSW.

  • Setting up objectives and targets with the aim of eliminating work related incidents in relation to our activities, products, and services as detailed below and in our WH&S Policy.

  • Ensuring all visitors to the Hauslein Workshop are informed of their responsibilities and expectations regarding their safety and conduct.

While undertaking workshop/site visits, you must take responsibility for your own health and safety and take reasonable care not to affect other people’s health and safety. As such we expect the following personal responsibilities to be taken on entering the Häuslein workshop site:

  • Follow all directions of staff during your tour and take note of any other safety instructions or applicable signage.

  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by our staff, including appropriate enclosed footwear, during your workshop tour.

  • Be aware of any movement of vehicles and forklifts upon entry and exit to the site and during your tour of the workshop.

  • Adhere as well as possible to the set date and time limit given for your workshop tour.

  • Ensure any children in your care are kept within reach and do not touch any equipment or items within the workshop.

  • For group tours where there is one responsible person for the entire group, that person is charged with the responsibilities above for each person attending the workshop tour.
