Travel Man Tiny House from China have been fraudulently using Häuslein Tiny House Co intellectual property in the form of product specs, images and photography.
Our Hauslein Sojourner tiny house model has been supposedly for sale on the Travel Man website as the “Slideoak“.
It has has shown up on Gumtree Australia by a seller named “Maggie“ for $75k “imported”, sourced from their “factory” in China.
This is a classic case of IP theft where a company in China produces unauthorised low quality knock-off replica’s of our original designs and quality manufactured products.
This company is also fraudulently using intellectual property from other real tiny house builders from the US, New Zealand and Canada.
We have spoken directly with people at Travel Man Tiny House and their importers on Gumtree instructing them to cease and desist immediately.
The specs on the Travel Man website and Gumtree listings are incorrect and the building materials totally inferior. If anyone ordered one their replica’s, honestly, who knows what they'd get!
It saddens us that an overseas company would seek to rip off high quality Australian products and even steal our original photos passing them off as their own!
We want to make the tiny house community and potential customers aware of dodgy imitations.
